Hello Glen,
Thank you very much for submitting your artwork for an appraisal.
The presented item appears to be a photogravure from the painting "Studio of the Artist with Models" which was executed by Giovanni Battista Quadrone (Italian, 1844-1898) in 1880. Here is some information about the original painting with the last known location in the artist's home town of Turin: https://catalogo.fondazionezeri.unibo.it/entry/work/102130/Quadrone%20Giovanni%20Battista%2C%20Studio%20del%20pittore%20con%20modelle and a catalogue reference.
The print measures approximately 11 x 14 inches and looks to be in good condition. It is framed with no immediate evidence of foxing or extensive discoloration.
It's my understanding that the print was published in either 1886 or 1888 and while I cannot confirm from the images provided that it is hand-signed and that the signature is authentic, it is certainly possible and would have a positive impact on the value of the item.
Based on recently achieved auction results for this artist's work, I would estimate the current fair market value of this print at $100 to $200, though retail and asking prices may vary.
If you have any questions about my appraisal, please let me know in the comments section below. Thank you again for your submission and I hope that you have a lovely day!
Kind regards,
Anne
