My stepmother inherited from her mother.
This is an antique Singer sewing machine with matching treadle base work table in oak. The machine has the added Egyptian sphinx decal on it. The serial number is H series and indicates this was one of 60,000 produced on July 2, 1906 in their Model 27. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
I was mistaken on where the machine came from. My step-mother bought it at and antiques store in Taos, New Mexico in the early 1970's.
Please add a close-up image of the sewing machine itself and a photo of the serial number on the plaque, which should be located around the machine base.
