The framed prints are in sound condition. The frames look to have damage, but I feel they were made to look distressed due to the nature of the print. (some worn spots may be actual damage to frame??) The actual prints are in overall great condition. There is some wood dust under the glass. One print has a small tear. There are small brown spots under the glass. The actual titles can been seen on the photographs.
Frame is 23.5" x 18.5" , inside matte opening is 16.5" x 11.5"
Hello,
This trio of framed prints is attributed to Alfonso Taccoli, a known creator of historical and military-themed illustrations. These works depict military uniforms and figures from the 18th century, showcasing Taccoli’s meticulous attention to historical accuracy and artistic detail. Each print features vibrant, hand-colored illustrations with inscriptions in Italian, reflecting the military organization and attire of the era. The black wooden frames with red matting enhance the presentation, and the individual titles are visible beneath the glass. The prints themselves appear in good condition, with some evidence of minor wear, including a small tear on one and brown spots under the glass that may be due to age or environmental factors.
