This doll belonged to my grandmother who was born in the 1890s. It is a porcelain doll with painted facial features, molded hair, cloth body, leather feet and hands and cloth clothing. The porcelain part of the doll includes head and neck and sits on doll's shoulders. The overall condition of the doll is very good. There are a few rips in her clothing and on her body but that's the extent of the damage. There are no discernable markings on the doll. So I don't know who the manufacturer is.
The doll is believed to have been my grandmothers. She was born in the late 1890s in a farmhouse in Pennsylvania. As she was relatively poor, it could have been a hand-me-down from another generation of relative living in her home, as well.
