Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a first half 20th century french machine woven tapestry, depicting aristocrats of the rococo era in a Versailles ballroom. Such machine woven tapestries can be regarded as a home decor item. One of the manufacturers was JP Panneaux Paris, but there are others in Belgium also. Wall tapestries tend to fade when exposed to the sunlight, which is the case here unfortunately. The estimate is based on similar sold recently at auctions.
