I cant seem to find a name written anywhere on it. It is some handwriting done in pencil on back of frame saying this picture painted 1805 Paterson La. Looks like oil painting. It Has 3 women and 2 children on what looks like a dock or harbor looking at sailboats in distance and One of women id waving with cloth in her hand with her arm around little boy as if they are waving bye to their men leaving on boats. I took canvas off the frame and on inside is a torn picture of buffalo or bison with word Prairie written in Capital letter across top.
