I inherited this sculpture from my dad , who passed away in November 2022. He lived in Nigeria in the late 1960s. He bought many African pieces, and I believe this is from Africa but am not sure.

Probably Ivory Coast, Early 20th Century
The kneeling female figure with tall arched stylized coiffure holding her child in front of her, on a flaring foot. Unmarked.
14-1/4 inches tall
CONDITION: This carving appears to be in generally good condition with minor wear and paint loss commensurate to age and use.
