Aldo Tura lacquered goatskin bar cart
Dimensions: 12-1/4" D x 20"W x 22"H. The top is lacquered goatskin, wood underneath, the fittings are solid brass. It is in good condition - two pictures show some wear, i.e., lacquer has worn away from one area on the top of the table and there is a black smudge on the bottom shelf. Label on the bottom of lower shelf confirms it is from Italy.
I purchased it from a shop here in Boulder. The owner purchased it from an estate sale.

This is a Mid Century Modern, Eames era, Italian designed bar cart or trolley by the designer, artist and craftsman, Aldo Tura who was best known for his application of colored, goat skin parchment to surfaces of his designs. Aldo Tura lived from 1909 - 1963 and is design studio was in Lombardy. His design aesthetic embraced Art Deco and Modernism. The estimate is based on actual recent past auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' may vary and can be higher.
