This is a later 20th century original painting of a pair of colorful tropical birds on branches that is illegibly signed at lower right. The signature appears as F. Grant. The strokes were done in a single color per stroke at is not rendered in an academic manner. Although the label states this is an original painting 'by American painter'; the rendering and style is very much Asian street or sidewalk art.
