I have 2 photos with the signature and many of the back. It's a really large, unframed painting, so I did the best I could. Mostly the back is just blank canvas. If still not good enough I'll try again.

How do you know this is by Andrea Palacios? The signature doesn't look like it says that and the work is about as unlike the ones that have sold at auction that I am almost positive are not the same person. Was this work acquired from the artist? I apologize for not having a value right now but it's important to make sure I'm looking up the correct artist. I hope to be able to turn this around quickly for you once I hear back.

I bought it from US Auctions Online and it was listed as "Stunningly Beautiful Original by Andrea Palacios." They have since had other items listed. I've noticed most of her paintings are of women's faces, but the flower-like design on the surface looks to be the same, which is why I thought it looked like the same artist (before bidding). US Auctions Online gets gallery foreclosures and unclaimed items to sell at auction.

I've looked at their online site and see that this went for about $900. I also see works there by Jessica Palacio, which are stylistically kind of similar but I am not finding Jessica Palacio in any of the online artist databases. I don't know US Auctions Online (USAO) so can't speak to the transparency of their estimates or bidding. Unless there is evidence that USAO rigged the bidding, one must assume you paid a fair price for it, in which case I would say an estimate would be $800-1,000. I'm not sure if that's the answer you were looking for but I can't find similar auction records by Andrea(s) Palacio(s) to give you a better idea if you over/under paid for this.
