Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, and thank you again for using Mearto.
I am sorry you are not happy with the appraisal.
Mearto's valuations are based on recent auction sales, not retail sales. Unfortunately, this kind of thing is a fairly formal piece of furniture, certainly for a more formal lifestyle than most people live these days.
There is nothing Art Deco about this piece - possibly you were thinking Art Nouveau?
If you've additional information about this mirror that was not disclosed about the mirror that would impact the value, I would welcome the opportunity to reconsider as appropriate.
Terrible appraisal ! Obviously no proper research was done .The mirror is not Edwardian and if you look at recent sales of same item the price is 10 times what you are setting your appraisal at. What a joke !
