Framed, with French matting, a Charles Pinet, pencil signed and numbered with blind stamp etching. It is a version of Cathedrale de Chartres le Deam but is slightly different than the common version. It appears to be the same place in the cathedral, just a slightly different angle and it is partially colored. It is titled differently in the lower right hand corner, but I am unable to make it out entirely. (Deambulatoire de Chartres _es Vezzecre??) The blind stamp is on the lower right, along with pencil marks of XXX/200. I can't make out the top number, it looks like 1P0. It appears that the etching paper is mounted on some type of board. I don't think the frame is original. The etching is in very good condition. I could not find anything to call out. The back has a Marshall Fields & Co. tag. I did several hours of looking myself but only found one example that is the same etching. It was on a French site, and I don't speak French, but with Google translate, I believe it said the etching was in a personal collection. The site was: http://mapage.noos.fr/thotemargerand/L-villes/Chartres/serichar.htm the 3rd picture down the page.

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a etching in colors on paper with 23 x 18 inches measurements. The drawing depicts a view of the choir inside the Chartres Cathedral. It was made and signed in pencil by the French artist Charles PINET (1867-1932)

This piece is in good condition and no severe damage is visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 60 to 120 USD.
