Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a persian tinned brass bowl, carefully incised with foliage and script motifs. Most likely made by a local craftsman in the late 19th or early 20th century. Similar brass bowls, finer in execution with niello or silver inlay can be purchased for less than one hundred dollars today. There is no measurement for the sentimental value this item represents to you, but unfortunately the market value is low.
