Very heavy tiger oak roll top desk, eight lower drawers with two pull out writing trays, and upper set of drawers and compartments under roll top. No brands visible except for Eagle Lock Co for the brass lock. Matching serial numbers carved into pedestal and roll top of 33578. Many scribbles of names of past owners and dates on the underside of both writing trays, with the earliest readable date of 1914. Good overall condition, shows signs of wear. No key present.
35 inches wide, 60 inches long, 50.5 inches to top, 30.5 inches to desk top.

An antique late Victorian tiger oak double-pedestal roll-top desk
American, early 20th Century
Of rectangular section the top with serpentine tambour slide lifting to reveal a divided and pigeon-holed interior, raised over a single short drawer flanked on both sides by stacks of four short drawers, each on box bases. With paneled sides, shaped wooden pulls, with inscriptions from previous owners but not labeled.
50 1/2 inches overall height; top of desk 30 1/2 inches; 60 inches wide, 35 inches deep
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition with minor wear commensurate to age and use.
