Dear Mayur,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil on board or masonite with the measurements of 70 x 110 cm. The painting depicts a Bengal tigress with her playing cubs. This artwork appears to be signed by the artist Arthur WARDLE (1864-1949). This painting differs in the quality of the depiction and the signature to ensured works of Arthur WARDLE (1864-1949).
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation for an authentified artwork with this motif and size would be between 10.000 to 20.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
Because of the differences to ensured works and the high potential value this artwork requires further authentication research. This estimate is provided on the condition of authenticity.
With kind regards,
Georg
