It is in foreign characters, probably Japanese or Chinese. Purchased at local auction house this week. The framed porcelain piece came from an antique store that went out of business. It is in good condition. The fancy wooden frame is very dusty but I did not see any breaks in the carved frame.

Framed it is 14”by 48”. The porcelain piece is 8” by 29”.
