Height: 18 in Width: 5 in shoulder to shoulder I believe this is porcelain throughout. Dress is sewn on in the back. I saw no damage and painting is in clean condition. The arms and legs move, but are not jointed at knee/elbow. The head moves.
This belonged to my husband's grandmother. His grandfather was military but I cannot tell you where he purchased it for her. There were no letters or papers attached.
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a second half 20th century Bru Jne & Cie replica doll, signed by the maker with his initials CAT (?). Bru bisque porcelain head dolls were very popular in the 1980s when the prices for antique dolls skyrocketed. The estimate is based on similar replica dolls sold at auction. There is non measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
