It has a sweet face and and clear marks on the back of the shoulderhead. The body is made of fine leather and both body and head appears to be in good condition. The clothes look original. The appraisal is assuming that the head is without chips, hairlines or cracks.

I believe that the doll would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online doll auction, where I believe the doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the Ernst Heubach doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
