These are vintage furniture pieces from a bedroom suite that consists of a vanity dressing table with 3-part mirror and a dresser also with 3-part mirror. The wood is more likely a walnut veneer and it is definitely not cherry wood. Veneer wood is a thin layer atop the fronts of bodies of furniture. These pieces actually date to the late 1930's to early 1940's and are considered Art Deco because of the period, however stylistically, these have Jacobean Revival elements as well as Art Nouveau Revival style, especially in the whiplash forms of the mirror frames. You may want to check inside the drawers for a maker name, label or tag. This was most likely produced in America, and possibly in Michigan state where the majority of furniture was being produced at that time. There are quite a number of furniture pieces of this style on the market currently and the 'rage' now is for DIY'ers to chalk paint these in colors to cover the wood color/appearance.
