Hello Jaime,
Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. I apologize for the delay in your appraisal and thank you for your patience. The item presented appears to be Chinese ink scroll painting in the style of Xu Beihong (徐悲鴻, 1895–1953). The work depicts galloping horses, a common theme for Beihong. However, the work does not bear Beihong's signature. Instead the signature partially appears to read "Bingzi." It should be noted that the market is filed with scroll paintings imitating or forging Beihong's work, many of which are produced for export. The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of comparable scroll paintings, depicting horses in the style of Beihong. The estimate is contingent on a full condition report. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
