50 in high and 28 wide
I was given this to sell and put it up on the local sites and have been getting lots of inquiries for it from what I believe to be dealers. I want to make sure I have this priced accordingly. Thanks so much!
Thank you for submitting for appraisal. This appears to be an early 20th century gesso decorated Mirror. It is apparently plywood, painted with two types of white or grey and varying drying accelerators, which leads to the visible craquelure. The mirror glass is also 20th century, the gold colored paint shows some patina. It is a nice decorative mirror, produced for the american market, possibly in Italy. The estimate is based on similar sold or offered at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
