Solid oak. Hand sawn. No more info. Inherited. Believed to be a French sideboard.
None. In family for many years.
This is a 20th century furniture piece constructed with hand hewn wood and iron hardware and pulls. This is a 20th century piece made to look like an antique. The screws used on the hardware and the lock mechanism are all modern. The design on the front is a made to look the faux exterior of a building with arched 'windows' and dentil design. The joinery is machine cut dovetailing. Though influenced by French Renaissance furniture, this 20th century sideboard was more likely produced in Asia and possibly Vietnam which at a time was French Occupied and still remained heavily influenced by French culture after the occupation. The estimate is based on actual past recorded auction sales of comparables.
