Hello Abigail,
I’m very glad that you chose Mearto for your online appraisal,
Considering the photographs, overall pattern, glass quality and the colours, I concluded that this is a Hand Carved Czechoslovakian Bohemian Wine Glass made betwen the period of 1940 and 1960. There are golden inscriptions on the piece, close to it's rim. The inscriptions are in either German or Czech. The Grape Leave figure on the glass is entirely hand carved, as classical to Bohemian pieces. Considering the grape leave we can conclude that this piece was an interesting wine glass interpretation. The piece has valuable stone like pseudo-stones in two different colours on both sides. Red on one side and green on one side. The rim and the upper body of the piece has a gilt work on them. The base of the piece is made of green cordial glass. At the base lobe we can also see a single strip of gilt work. The piece is in good condition with smaller signes of use and age.
Entirely hand carved.
Dimensions: 2 Inches in Diameter, 3 Inches of Height
Condition: The piece is in good condition with smaller signes of use and age.
Provenance: Unknown.
80-100$.
