German made porcelain bisque doll
07 April 2023
Description

She appears to be in very good shape. She has been in storage for years. Her original dress has mostly disintegrated. Markings on her head show she was made by Simon & Halbig for Heinrich Handwerck. I do not have her exact age. Just know she is very old.

The specialist needs more information

Hi Carol,

Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Is the body of the doll porcelain as well as the head, or is it cloth or kid leather?

Thanks to confirm,
Delia
