Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be - just as you suggested - a french ceiling fixture of the late 1920s or early 1930. Very often various manufacturers cooperated in the production of chandeliers and the completed product was then sold under different brand names. The glass was cast in mold and cut most likely by Cristalleries de Baccarat and possibly sold by Hettier-Vincent or Atelier Petitiot or another well known supplier. Without a signature or a catalogue entry it is very difficult to positively identify the maker. The estimate is based on similar ceiling fixtures of this period sold at auction. Asking prices in the trade can be much higher and vary.
