Ridgeway is a division of the Howard Miller Company in Zeeland, Michigan, and produced longcase, mantle and wall clocks. What remains one of just three major floor clock manufacturers in the United States began as the Gravely Furniture Company in 1926; they started producing grandfather clocks exclusively in 1960.

Pulaski Furniture Corporation acquired Gravely in 1985 and renamed it Ridgeway Clocks; in the company was acquired by Howard Miller, which also owns Kieninger, the German company that makes the movements that are built into each Ridgeway Clocks.

Interestingly, a Ridgeway grandfather clock is presented to winners of some NASCAR and stock car races.

Despite their imposing size (or perhaps because of it), the prices for Ridgeway clocks remain comparatively low when sold at auction, bringing prices less than $500 and more often less than $300, even when sold with their original paperwork.

You don't mention what the serial number on this clock is, which would allow me to precisely date this clock. If you want to provide that number, I would be happy to update this appraisal accordingly.
