Bought this and also submitted "sister" rug in Istanbul in early '90's. Was told then that both were more than 70 years old at that time. In excellent condition with only some wearing of fringe. No stains or wear otherwise visible. Made of wool and cotton backing per professional rug cleaner. Origen unknown.
