Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a lovely antique doll. The doll was made in Germany in the early 1900s. I believe that the doll was made by the doll maker company Gans & Seyfarth situated in Walterhausen in Germany, between 1908-1922. The doll has a jointed body made of papermache, composition and wood. The head is made of porcelain. The wig often made of mohair or real hair. The doll has original and contemporary clothes. It appears to be in good condition, however in order to get high prices the head must be intact without any chips, hairlines or restaurations.
I believe that the doll would attract the attention of both collectors and dealers if it came up for auction.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the antique doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the lovely doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
