The presented object appears to be the 8th and 9th volumes of the collected writings (Samlede Schriften) of the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875). This volume was printed by the C.A. Reitzels Forlag 1878 in Copenhagen. The fact that this is a single volume from bigger publications minors the interest of collectors in this piece.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
