The presented object appears to be the first edition of the short novel "The Old Man and the Sea" written by Ernest HEMINGWAY(1899-1961). This first edition was published by Charles Scribner´s and Sons (New York) in the year 1952. This hardcover book has still the dust jacket. The dust jacket is slightly damaged at the edges and stained.
This piece is in medium good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 300 to 600 USD.
