Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a painting by Henry Boesé (1824-c.1863) who was active as a painter in the New York area from 1844-1863. Judging from his Hudson River School style he might have studied at the academy in Düsseldorf in Germany. Paintings by Boesé ( sometimes listed as "Beese") have been offered at auction in recent years. The estimate is based on actual auction results and unsold lots combined. As always "asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary. If it could be established where the location is, the value could easily double.
