I purchased this collection of signed lithographs at a Sotheby's auction a few years ago (the box has only been opened once - the condition should be the same as at purchase), from the "Christo and Jeanne-Claude Collection" sale. The box includes a personal note to Christo thanking him/them for participating in the project. I am thinking about selling it to help fund the purchase of an apartment, depending on what the value in a more retail setting might be. The portfolio comprises works by the following artists: Elvira Bach (German, born 1951), Werner Berges (German, born 1941), Hellmut Bruch (German, born 1936), Christo (American/Bulgarian, 1935-2020), Richard Estes (American, born 1932), Heinz Gappmayr (Austrian, 1925-2010), Jochen Gerz (German, born 1940), José de Guimarães (Portuguese, born 1939), Hans Karl (Polish, born 1935), Gerald Laing (British, 1936-2011), Robert Mangold (American, born 1937), Ton Mars (Dutch, born 1950), Pietro Sanguineti (German, born 1965), Kenny Scharf (American, born 1968) and Raymond E. Waydelich (German, born 1938).
