Description

Hi, I purchased this item in a charity shop along with x 5 others of similar condition which I would say are very good considering the age of the items. I believe the paper to be Washi and the pigmints and ink remain vibrant. When purchased they were all glass framed and were only removed to take more accurate photos. Chat GPT has provided the following information in regards to the specific piece in question. Artist and Publisher Artist: The signature "一勇斎国芳画" (Ichiyūsai Kuniyoshi ga) confirms that the artist is Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797–1861), a renowned ukiyo-e master known for his dynamic compositions and vivid storytelling.
