This is a vintage, approximately 3" x 6", jewel-sized, engraving of Jesus on the Cross that is a signed and dated Artist's Proof by an unlisted artist, Brophy and dated '75 for 1975. The cross hatched lines that make up the image are indicative of a print done by engraving. The indent in the paper around the image is called a platemark, which is also a tell-tale sign of a print. Artist's Proof is another term used for prints, which means this was a practice piece by the artist before they would do a numbered, limited edition printing run.
