Thanks for the photo but I still can't make out what it says - what does it look like to you?

Djordje bamburac Jun 29, 16:50 UTC

It is from 1834-1837 period.
Try to find list of artist for that period

About half of the items you appraised before were wrong. I posted these 2 to see how you doing with more expensive items. Please 8f you not able to read signature, return the money, dont just go and write whatever number loke in some cases before.

Good morning, Djordje,
There are several appraisers - across the entire span of categories - who have done your previous appraisals; my categories are furniture, glass and ceramics (but not Asian) and I've not done any of your appraisals. Can you specify which appraisals are incorrect?

Djordje bamburac Jun 30, 10:43 UTC

1881 smith & wesson
this is scoville first model
they usually sell for $1,400

peabody prototype is 1/1 and how can you put 300-600 when there is no one to compare

Hi Djordje,
I've asked our Asian and the specialist who does weapons to look at their valuations and get back to you.
I've done fairly exhaustive research on painters working for KPM in the 1830s and have not found anything that comes close to a match with the signature - perhaps they were there for a very short period of time.
The large size of your plaque and the nice early date warrant an estimate of $6,000-9,000 and this would be catalogued as the following:

A large KPM painted porcelain plaque
Depicting an Old Testament biblical scene of figures at a well
bearing KPM mark on verso, dating to 1834-1837
signed indistinctly lower right, framed
panel 28 1/2 by 21 inches; framed 35 1/2 by 26 1/2 inches
$6,000-9,000*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.

ok
thank you
also when i go to one of the biggest gun auction houses in Illinois and put a. greener in search there are almost none below $1,500
also gun is in excellent condition
would like to know where this $100-300 comes from?
i bought closed antique store and have 100's of items but this appraisals are not going together with what this items sells for

also i have one ynfinished appraisal, and do not have that painting anymore but nobody offered a credit for it

your appraisal for kpm is matching what I knew of it, so maybe i will post more art for appraisal, which is not the case with guns (i have 10 more guns)

Hi Djordje,
I appraise furniture, glass, ceramics, textiles, collectibles, lighting and American art; iMearto has other appraisers in some of those categories, and in all of the other categories as well. If you do submit additional items from those categories and want me to appraise them, you should put my name in the title line (ie, attn Delia KPM plaque) otherwise another appraiser could appraise it.
I really cant speak to the guns; it is a highly specialized area, one I am simply not versed in.
I’ve looked at the comments for the unappraised painting and it looks like the appraiser has asked to see photos of the back of the painting. If you cant do that, let her know...she may be able to make a general appraisal based on what she CAN see.

i do not have that painting anymore
