Unknown provenance. These masks were in a house we bought (in Ann Arbor, Michigan) in 2022, from an estate, previous owner deceased, sister only known relative, who lives in Canada and handled the house sale remotely. The masks are carved wood with grass or raffia hair/beard. Both are hollow. One looks a bit like depictions of Ghengis Khan and has a rope attached at the top to hang it as a wall decoration. The other is more like an African mask that could be worn over the head, with air holes along the lower chin.
Approximately 16 by 10 inches for bearded wall hanging mask. The other is 14 inches long including braided hair, about 10-12 inches wide.
