An antique Indian brass bound and painted sandalwood box
19th century
The rectangular box clad in repousse brass with split hinged lid with single carrying handle, painted sides and small bun feet.
8 1/4 inches tall, 18 1/4 inches wide, 13 3/4 inches deep
CONDITION: wear appears to be commensurate with age and use, with expenctant losses
PROVENANCE: acquired at an antique store
