Landscape by Arnold Lorne Hicks
This is what seems to be an original oil on canvas of a landscape by Arnold L. Hicks. The canvas size is 30" x 24" and the framed size is 37.5" x 32". The frame is not very heavy or nice, but compliments the piece nicely.
This is an oil painting that hung in my in-laws house for years, and both are now deceased. Curious to learn the value. We have no information regarding where it was acquired.

This undated oil painting appears to be by the Canadian and American artist called ARNOLD LORNE HICKS (1888-1970). This is a landscape with a river and birch trees. It is signed "Arnold L. Hicks" on the lower right edge. Sight 24"(h) x 30"(w), framed 32"(h) x 37.5"(w). The condition appears to be good overall.
Unfortunately, not a big deal has been written about his career as an artist.
