Black and white 3/12 x 5 Charles Lindburgh, his wife standing next to him and 3 other men in the photo. It looks like it may be in a lobby of a Hotel. Maybe from the late 1920's early 1930's. Could have been taken in Chicago. Picture was taken by my mothers great Uncle who was a reporter for (I think) the Tribune

Hello Esther,
Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with Mearto. The item presented appears to be an albumen print possibly dating to 1927. It is unclear, without closer examination, if the photo is indeed an albumen or other photo type. As you mentioned, the man in the center is aviator and inventor Charles Lindbergh (American, 1902 - 1974) along with his wife. The man to Charles' right is identified as Sra Chacon and the photo was taken in Guatemala, 1927.
The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of comparable photographs featuring Charles Lindbergh without autographs. Autographed photos or memorabilia can reach a much higher estimate. Please note asking or dealer prices may vary. Thank you and please take care.
