Acrylic on canvas. 1 m x 1 m
Ibougth to the painter Merinoo. I have been the only owner
Dear Carlos,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be a painting made in oil or acrylic paint on canvas with the measurements of 1 m x 1 m. The painting depicts a girl in a traditional Mexican costume holding flowers. This painting was made by the Mexican artist Rafael Merinoo. His artworks were recently offered but remained mainly unsold in the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
A base auction estimation would be between 800 to 1500 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
I send you three paintings, publisheb on INVALUABLE. You can see estimated pricess.
Dear Carlos,
Thank you for the links. I already noticed these offered artworks of Rafael Merinoo. Sadly all these paintings which were estimated quite high remained unsold. There were just some artworks hammered down for 1.325 USD. This means that all these estimations are too high and the art market does not accept these nevertheless these paintings are highly decorative and made by a talented and inventive artist.
With kind regards,
Georg
