What does this mean?

This is an antique late 19th century, Victorian era, heavily carved etagere display case and cupboard with mirrors. It dates to just about 1890 and it is not in the Queen Anne style. Queen Anne is from the late 18th century to early 19th century, the lines or design are cleaner and ore simple; this display cabinet is High Victorian ad very ornate. There carved posts which appear to have animals on them and the web design on the front cupboard panels are influenced by German Black Forest Carving. The whiplash form of the posts is transitional from Late High Victorian style to Art Nouveau. This is possibly French. The estimate is based on auction sales of comparables. It is advised to check inside the drawers/cupboards and backside for any marker marks, tags or labels.
