A vintage Walt Disney wool character rug
circa 1960s
The vibrantly-colored rug densely crowded with numerous Disney characters, including Donald Duck, Goofy, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, the 7 dwarves, Lady and the Tramp, Pinocchio, Bambi and more. Apparently unmarked and without label.
48 by 72 inches (4 by 6 feet)
CONDITION: This rug appears to be in good condition, retaining strong colors and selvedges (fringe) at both ends.
PROVENANCE: Acquired at the 1964 NY World's Fair
