What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a set of five small paintings by Ron Huff. Huff was apparently a self taught artist who had his moment of fame when a series of plates was issued by Franklin Mint. His paintings had no impact on the art market, none were offered or sold at auction. I can therefore only compare his paintings to similar decorative art by lesser known artist of the same period. The "asking prices" you found can not be the basis of an estimate.
