0.875 Gilted Silver and green enameled Cloisonne in a floral pattern of pink and blue flowers. Dimensions of piece are: 5" high, 9" long, 4.5" wide. Weight: 14.5 oz. Stamped with Imperial Court Silversmith Imperial Cypher and Moscow Russian city mark, Silversmith mark of Pavel Akimov Ovchinnikov and assayer mark of Viktor Vasilyevich Savinsk. Date of work is approximately 1884 No known areas of damage. Piece is in very good shape overall.
Piece was own by a Russian Family that said it belonged to their great grandmother

It is a beautiful Kovsh.
However after having examined the photos very carefully we have come to the conclusion that it is not an original Russian Kovsh. The colours of the enamel are not right and the silver stamps does not look original. Unfortunately many of the Kovsh were made many years ago and in that sense they may be old however not as old as it takes to be considered an original Russian Kovsh dating from the late 1800s.
The sentimental value it represents to you will be much higher than the market value.
