Hi Connie,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Noritake was one of the most popular names for dinnerware in the mid 20th Century; not only was it handsome and serviceable but it was also comparatively affordable. Increasingly few people today, however, entertain in such a formal way and the market is saturated with services of varying sizes, colors, etc. Because there is less demand than supply, fair-market / auction prices for Noritake remain low, typically bringing $4-8 PER PIECE.
The fact that you have the same (and even) number of place pieces (plates, bowls, cups), benefits its value, which I've appraised at about $6-9/piece
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage 130-piece Noritake parcel gilt porcelain part dinner service for 12

I’ve included 4 pictures
Hi Connie,
I've updated this and am coming up with a higher number than the 104-110 pieces you noted so there's a disconnect between what you've told me and the photos. I'm happy to amend this appraisal if/when you're able to go through the set carefully and note whatever corrections need to be made as to the piece count.
Thanks,
Delia
