Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a very cute and well kept Shirley Temple doll. Such vintage toys are being offered at auction on a regular basis. The early Shirley Temple dolls from Ideal came out in the late 1950s so that your doll is from the early 1960s is quite right. The best and highest prices are obtained for the dolls in mint condition, with original clothes and shoes and accessories and still in their original box. Your doll appears to be in good condition with original clothes however the box is missing. This decreases the value slightly.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised online toys auction, where I believe the Ideal Shirley Temple doll has the best chance of realising its fullest potential. However, there is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the cute doll. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

Your item will be presented for several auction houses, but they tend only to be interested in items worth more than $1000. I would recommend eBay for these kinds of items because of the extended amount of buyers on the platform.
