Hi Zoltan,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Tim Murray is an acclaimed glass artist known for his innovative approach to glass sculpture. His work often blends traditional glassblowing techniques with contemporary design, creating pieces that are both visually striking and conceptually rich. Murray’s creations range from intricate, delicate forms to bold, abstract shapes, showcasing his mastery over the medium. His pieces are celebrated for their vibrant colors, fluidity, and the way they play with light, making him a prominent figure in modern glass art.
Because Murray was working so recently, the majority of his pieces have not yet hit the auction market and his prices remain largely gallery-driven, where this would be expected to sell for between $300-500; a comparable fair-market valuation would see this rate an auction estimate of $150-250.
