There are eight negatives of sword and the stone they are from the fifties
Hi Renee,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Disney's "Sword in the Stone" was released in 1963, so these are not from the 1950s unless there is evidence these were from a prototype film.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A set of 8 "Sword and the Stone" negatives
circa 1963
Five individual panels labeled "SW-C-90," "SW-C-129", "SW-C-138," "SW-C-178," SW-C-179",
each approximately 6 by 8 inches
CONDITION: These negatives are framed/matted so there is some inherent warping and twisting from heat and humidity. Value assumes no tears, repairs or losses.
PROVENANCE: Inherited
$200-300 each or $2,000-3,000 for the set*
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
Please let us know if you have additional items to appraise, or questions/concerns, and thank you again for using Mearto.

Thanks, Renee, for the additional photos. If you want to send me the exact dimensions I'd be happy to update the appraisal. Note the cumulative value ($2,000-3,000) is higher than if you sell these individually, at $200-300 each.
