What does this mean?

This is an antique, circa 1900, hand carved wooden table from China. The wood is likely hongmu, which is generically termed as 'rosewood'. The low table setting is referred to as a 'kang' table. Low seating was used around the table as opposed to chairs. These were used for playing games, serving tea, and sometimes as a platform for napping. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables.
