Love seat/Chair.Intricate wood carving. Cherub , lion or possibly dragon heads on arm rests.Paws for legs of the couch. Think it might be Chinese red wood. About 3' tall. 3-4' long. About 2 1/2' wide.( have a matching chair, better upholstery ) I was told many years ago that it was reupholsterd. Can not find any names, initials, etc. Anywhere.

This appears to be an ornately carved walnut two seater sofa of the 1880s, decorated with carved lion heads and paws, accanthus leaf, rocaille and a cherub face. The sofa or settee or Kanapee might be of french origin. Currently prices for antique furniture are at a low. The estimate is based on similar items sold or offered at auction. "Asking prices" in the trade might be higher and vary.
